Any ideas to make this issue go away and have software work as it should? Did you already try running it by a click with the right mousebutton and the selection « run program as an administrator? I downloaded the software using a Windows 10 version. If this software is not going to work as it was made out to be, I’d rather have a refund to purchase something else that will work when I need it. It always seems to happen when I need to do a recording. Purchased this software through Amazon and have had nothing but problems. Don’t see what you’re looking for? Start a New Post. Hi OKsoundguy, I certainly understand the issue you are facing. That being said, I need to re-register and, just as the other gentleman with SF 10, the registration fails and I need to be able to use the software again for an audio file modification. This and Sonic Foundry Acid are both excellent software packages for their purposes. I reinstall it when I need it and do not reinstall it for long stretches at a time. Magix recreated the Vegas forum, but I don’t see a Sound Forge section. I know this isn’t the correct forum for this, but everything is scattered across multiple sites.
But reinstalling won’t fix the problem where it doesn’t start.
